What are the possible thesis topics which are realted to media and is at the same time a social issue?

Problems in mass media? THESIS TOPIC??
In my humble opinion: the biggest problem in the mass media is they only talk to each other and listen to each other. They create their own private self enlarging loop.
Their is not any room or credibility given to an outside or contradictory opinion. The media has gotten the impression they are the ones creating the news, forgetting they are only supposed to pass on information (news) to their viewers or readers.
