Business as a career for Social Phobia affected people?

Hi ,I am 22 year old male and suffer from Social Phobia . I aspire to do business in future - say 4-5 years down the line . Are there sucessfull business man who are social phobic ? Any famous personalities who have become sucessful in entreprenurship despite suffering from Social Phobia in early part of their life ? I know a lot of shy people who have become leaders ...but people with Social Phobia are not heard of in media ...


Importantly is it possible to treat Social Phobia and reduce it so that one can pursue their interests without unwanted concerns ?

2. Social anxiety/phobia can not just be gotten over. There is no known cure for it. There are medictions that can control it so that you will not have panic attacks while with people.





3. Social Phobia is deep seated and just simple mental or verbal suggestions won't eliminate it.





4. Do not feel alone. Millions of people suffer from it.





5. Go to your physician and explain your situation and symptoms, and request help so that you can assimilate out into society and function at the capacity that you would like.

you have to deal with people....unless you are in accounting. just get over the social phobia or you will be screwed.
