It's more than proven that the media influences socialization patterns and social identity. From how the media portray Asians, it is obvious that it has had a negative affect on Asians in this country by dividing Asian females and Asian male socialization patterns.

Don't blame the media. It's the massage parlors. Most of them are filled iwth Asian women who are ready to give happy endings. Whereas the men work delivering chinese food (especially the Japanese men), which is better than being kamikaze pilots (previous profession). Most media don't care about Asians, except for Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica, who is so incredibly hot.
Reply:Asian men have no place in USA. In the eyes of most american women an asian man is somehow defective and sinful. He is defective because he was born asian. To them it's an unforgiveable sin to have been borned a male from asian ancestry. All you do is contributing to their economy and their well beings while getting discriminated against. Hollywood and the american mass media are commiting genocide against asian race. By depriving asian men the ability to find mates; it's just a cruel as gassing them en mass like the nazi did to the jews in the 30's and 40's. Soon asian race will be exterminated not by the swords nor the bullets, but by the slandering propaganda of the american mass media
