I don't really care if the media is liberal or conservative. Actually, I would prefer conservative. But concerning the news, these labels are irrelevant and trivial. I'm concerned with the omissions, selectivity (showing more pro-war spokespersons prior to the second Iraq war), and government parroting. The mainstream news media is subservient to the government and power concentration.





Family values are up to the parents. If they let their children watch despicable TV programs, it's their fault, not the media moguls and capitalists who own it--they're just selling shows to advertisers based on viewer ratings. We should question even letting children watch TV in the first place. They don't need it, just like I don't need news from the corporate media.
